Hi,

I’m looking at the weather for Tuesday and the high is supposed to be only 20 degrees so I’m going to move the hike to Wednesday where the temps are supposed to be near 30.

As usual we’ll start at the equestrian parking lot at 10am. Due to conditions you might want to bring a hiking stick or poles.

After the hike, bring a sandwich, chips, and a thermos of coffee, hot chocolate, or your favorite soup, there are picnic tables where we can have a bite to eat. Some bring a small camping stove and heat water for stuff. Be creative! You don’t have to carry your lunch on the hike, just leave it in the car.

To get to the equestrian parking lot in Lowden-Miller State Forrest, from Oregon take Hwy 64 east, turn right on Daysville Road, go 2.4 miles south on Daysville road and turn right on Lowden Road. Go 1.5 miles and turn right on Nashua Road. The equestrian Parking lot is almost a mile down on your left.
