The 44nd Annual ride
DATE: Saturday, Sept. 4 & Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021
The ride features a delightful route, starting at the Greater Rockton Centre, on Main Street in Rockton, Illinois. We are moving our annual ride from May to Sept. this year with the hope that covid restrictions will finally be tapering off. Restrooms and food are included to ensure you enjoy the beauty of this spring ride in the country. Four routes are available which will offer something for everyone. GPS links will be provided once routes are finalized. We will be following appropriate health department guidelines with respect to COVID-19, and expect all participants to do so as well.
There will be NO day-of registration in 2021. Online registration will close on August 31, 2021 at midnight. Mailed registration forms must be received by Aug. 31 also so please drop off at post office 3-4 days ahead of time. Helmets are required for all riders.

Any age or skill level can experience cycling on village streets and a paved bike trail. The villages of Rockton and Roscoe are true delights that should not be missed. (No supported rest stop, but several commercial stops are available.)
30 Mile Ride - get out into the countryside
Rolling countryside, quaint towns, and unspoiled views along the Sugar River sets the stage for this tour. The Duck Pond rest stop is a favorite on this route.
Extending the 30 mile ride, this route adds a rest stop at Beckman Mill with only a few more Wisconsin hills.
65 Mile Ride
Shift into high gear for this 65-mile trek through the rolling hills of Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. You'll pass green farmlands, visit charming villages and cruise along the scenic Sugar River.
Once is good - Twice is great!
We love these routes so much that we will offer you the opportunity to ride on both Saturday and Sunday. Choose the day that fits your schedule best - or ride both days. There is an additional fee for riding both days.
Expect a detailed route map, cue sheet, sag wagons and exceptionally well-marked roads from the organizers. Rest stops will be operating with covid safety in mind and provide packaged energy bars, bananas, and bottled water.
Lunch served at Rockton Centre 10:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. We will provide box lunches from a local deli or market with sandwich, chips, cookies, and water.
