A moderate paced group rides to Pecatonica for breakfast. This route is 41 miles and is flat-to-rolling terrain. Check the Event Calendar for Start Times.
This route has approximately 12 miles of gravel. Gravel routes are not intended or safe to be ridden on a road bike. A hybrid, gravel or trail bike which have wider tires than a road bike is recommended.
There are no locations to purchase food or drink along the route. Bring your own snacks and plenty of water. The pace will be leisurely at 10-15 mph with breaks as needed. No one will be left behind.
After the ride we can stop at either the Ogle County Brewery or Hairy Cow Brewery for food and drink.
Leader will decide by Saturday night,(The day before the actual ride), the route and subsequently the starting point based on the wind direction predictions.

The ride leaves from the parking lot in Prairie Fields
35-50 mile route.
Tom will lead the route determinedly by the wind and weather.
No drop ride with stops to regroup and water.
About half way will stop for coffee or breakfast.

Kinnikinnick Creek Nature Preserve
