Route often varies as determined by the participants and the weather. Milage from 33-45 miles.
This is a nice easy paced ride (10 to 15 MPH) with nobody left behind.
After the ride, participants often meet for dinner or snacks at one of the local establishments.
The route provided should be considered nominal however depending on the wind and rider considerations, many variations are also possible most having a shorter length. Variations are made at the discretion of the ride leader based on participant inputs.

19.3-mile ride is entirely paved. The route includes bike paths and Rock Cut roads. Start from Northwest Bank of Rockford parking lot along the Perryville bike path in front of Peak Sports Club.

PECATONIC ROAD PARKING LOT at Pecatonica Wetlands Forest Preserve
This 27.6-mile ride has approximately 17 miles of gravel. This is an intermediate rather than beginner level gravel ride due to total length and number of miles of gravel. The ride starts at the Pecatonica Wetlands parking lot on Pecatonica Road. Gravel rides are not safe to be ridden on a road bike. A gravel, mountain, or other bikes with 38mm or wider tires is recommended.

35-50 mile route.
Tom will lead the route determinedly by the wind and weather.
No drop ride with stops to regroup and water.
About half way will stop for coffee or breakfast.

We will start the ride at the old Hilander and ride Brynwood, Old Hunters Run, Wishart and Heather to pick up the route. Distance will vary depending on leader and group discretion

This 42-mile road ride is ENTIRELY PAVED with breaks at the Blackhawk Statue and in Oregon. The ride with gps map shows gravel but the roads are all paved.
