50th Annual Rockford Road Runners Turkey Trot is the oldest area race The race has long been a fundraiser for the Rock River Valley Food Pantry, with many thousands of dollars having been raised over the years and continues that tradition this year. Our hope is that in signing up all will consider including a donation to support to the Rock River Valley Food Pantry. <br /><br />The distance is listed as 5k and for those who have run the Turkey Trot over the years you know that distance is and always has been approximate so do not worry this years Turkey Trot is still about 5k run or walk and just have fun!<br />Donations are again being accepted this year as we collect $$$ for the Rock River Valley Food Pantry., Rockford Wildcats, Annie&#39;s Locker, the RRR Founders Scholarship Fund.<br /><br />https://runsignup.com/Race/IL/Rockford/RockfordThanksgivingTurkeyTrot
