Events - Event View

Ride start is from the lower parking lot at Deer Run forest preserve. This is a nice introductory route for riding on gravel. There are 3 miles of gravel on this 21 mile route.  The first mile of Willoughby Rd is gravel as is, the first and last mile ridden on McNeal Rd. We'll start at 8:30 rather than 9 to avoid heat. It's only 21 miles so there is no food/water destination mid-route. We will take breaks and regroup as necessary along the route. No one will be left behind. After the ride we can go for refreshments at Cafe Amore in Cherry Valley.
