1st Annual International Women's Day Activity
About this event
To recognize/celebrate International Women's Day (IWD) we will sponsor a hike at Castle Rock State Park south of Oregon, IL.. The hike is approx. 5.5 miles with some ups and downs. The hike start location is at the Aspen Ridge picnic area, gps link below. After the hike there are options for coffee and food in Oregon. All are WELCOME!! Registration is RECOMMENDED to be notified of changes/cancellation.
International Women's Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality.
